Exam Results 2014/15

GCSE EXAMS –

GCSE Maths – 7 entries, all passed                100% pass rate

GCSE Science – 4 entries, all passed             100% pass rate

GCSE Art – 1 entry, passed                           100% pass rate

 

iGCSE EXAMS –

iGCSE English – 5 entries, all passed             100% pass rate

iGCSE ICT – 1 entry, passed                         100% pass rate

 

Last year there were a total of 6 GCSE exam entries with a pass rate of 66%. This year we have had a threefold increase in the number of entries with 18 students taking GCSE exams and we have significantly increased our pass rate to a maximum 100%.

 

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS EXAMS –

Functional Skills Maths Exams – 31 entries

Entry Level 1 – 4 entries, all passed               100% pass rate

Entry Level 2 – 4 entries, all passed               100% pass rate

Entry Level 3 – 15 entries, all passed             100% pass rate

Level 1 – 8 entries, 4 passed                           50% pass rate

 

Functional Skills English Exams – 18 entries

Entry Level 2 – 4 entries, all passed               100% pass rate

Entry Level 3 – 9 entries, all passed               100% pass rate

Level 1 – 5 entries, 3 passed                           60% pass rate

 

Last year there were a total of 68 entries for Functional Skills exams with a 100% pass rate. This year we have reduced this exam type to encourage more GCSE exams which is a more difficult exam. The 49 Functional Skills exam entries taken this year had an overall pass rate of 88%
