About us

Norton College is a specialist school for secondary students aged 11-19 in Worcester and Tewkesbury. It’s owned and operated by Crucible Education Limited.

The College was established to meet the needs of a range of ‘very hard to reach’ students who have Education, Health and Care Plans that describe their complex social, emotional and behavioral difficulties and increasingly Autism.

Norton College is a specialist school working with students aged 11-19.

Teaching Methods

The College aims to take young people on a journey from hopelessness through to hopefulness and from dependence through to independence. Bespoke learning programmes at our specialist school are created for each student to enable them to develop the educational, social and vocational skills to ensure they successfully integrate into adulthood and society.

Our philosophy

Our Students

Norton College works with young people aged from 11-19 years who have invariably found learning in the mainstream environment challenging or have struggled to thrive and consequently arrive at the College feeling they have failed and cannot achieve. Whereas in fact it is our view that the educational system has failed to meet their particular learning needs. At Norton College, students are encouraged and supported to develop positive behaviours that will form a solid foundation for the future.
