Pupils had the opportunity to visits the Arms Careers Office in Worcester last week, supported by staff from Norton College Worcester. Pupils introduced themselves to Lance Corporal Lewis. L/Corp Lewis then conducted a highly informative presentation on all aspects of Army life, from recruitment to when Military Discharge. He went over the diverse ways to join, what qualifications each Army trade required and showed several short films. Pupils were fully engaged, asked appropriate questions, and stayed focused for the hour and quarter of the presentation. Pupils represented Norton College in a positive light and displayed all of Norton’s Values. Pupils were attentive throughout the presentation and thanked L/Corp Lewis for his time. Pupils were able to discuss what they had learnt and the take aways to support their future ambitions.
