How will my history impact how I am treated here?
At Norton College, we believe the education system has failed you. The College will be a fresh start for all students where past behavioural issues will not be referred to and students are treated as we find them.
Do I need to wear a school uniform at Norton College?
There is no school uniform and likewise none for PE or recreational activities at Norton College. However our student advice would be to dress appropriately for the time of year and attendance at a college placement.
What facilities can I enjoy whilst at Norton College?
We have purpose-built facilities consisting of a range of supported study areas, large vocational areas, large gym and an outside multi-use games area.
Both Tewkesbury and Worcester Colleges have access to a whole host of off-site recreational and educational facilities such as: rock climbing, horse riding, skating, go karting, fishing, snooker, forest school, hill walking, mountain biking, swimming, skateboarding, music recording and ten pin bowling.
I don’t like busy or noisy classrooms, where will I learn at Norton College?
The learning environment at Norton College is highly flexible, allowing us to meet the needs of all of our students. The large amount of space available ensures that students can enjoy learning in a facility that is calm and welcoming but more importantly, not overcrowded.
The curriculum at Norton College is all delivered on a 1:1 basis and whilst you will have to follow the core subjects, we create a learning programme around your particular interests.
