Show Racism the Red Card
On Friday 16th October, staff and students at Norton College Worcester proudly supported the national Show Racism the Red Card campaign by wearing red and taking part in a range of activities designed to promote respect, tolerance and inclusion.
Throughout the day, students engaged in discussions and activities that encouraged them to reflect on the importance of treating others with kindness and understanding, regardless of their background, culture or beliefs. The campaign provided a valuable opportunity for students to explore themes of equality, diversity and mutual respect, which are central to the values we promote across the college.
To mark the occasion, students received campaign stickers and were encouraged to show their support. Staff and students embraced the theme of the day, with many proudly wearing red to demonstrate their commitment to standing against racism and promoting positive relationships within our school community.
The event was a great success and highlighted the strong sense of respect and acceptance that exists throughout Norton College Worcester. We are proud of the way our students engaged with the campaign and demonstrated an understanding of the importance of celebrating diversity and treating everyone with dignity and respect.
By supporting initiatives such as Show Racism the Red Card, Norton College Worcester continues to promote a culture where every individual feels valued, respected and included.
